Collection: About
Bungalow was founded by Sophie Flathouse, a ceramic designer and maker whose passion for clay began in Texas and flourished during her studies in London, where she earned the nickname "Sophie Bungalow."
Sophie's design philosophy was shaped early by a childhood surrounded by meaningful objects with stories to tell. This foundation led her to pursue a degree in Industrial Design, followed by ceramic studies at The Royal College of Art, where she learned to bridge function with lasting emotional impact.
Today, Sophie approaches each piece with the belief that ceramics should become part of people's stories. Her work focuses on creating objects designed not just for today, but to endure. These are pieces that gain meaning and memory over time. Through Bungalow, she brings a dedication to making objects that become a part of your story.
